Lithology: Volcaniclastic siltstone and sandstone, phyric and porphyritic basalt.
SEISMIC TOOL USED: VSI (Versatile Seismic Imager)
The logging data was recorded by Schlumberger in LDF/DLIS format. All processing, including first arrival picking and stacking, was performed by Schlumberger during Expedition 369. The data was then converted into SEGY format at LDEO, using code developed in house.
Stacks are generally calculated with at least nine good traces. Data was acquired in 11 stations, between 3051.1 and 3440.9 m WRF, for a total of 34 shots. Of these, only 3 stations acquired good quality waveforms to generate a wavefield plot. The depths are 3326.1. 3374.1, and 3440.2 m WRF.
All the data in the SEGY files are sorted shot by shot (i.e. chronologically).
Additional information about the drilling and logging operations can be found in the Operations and Downhole Measurements sections of the expedition report, Proceedings of the International Ocean Discovery Program, Expedition 369.
